Since 2008, Focusun has grown from a refrigeration engineering company into a partner for snow, ice, and temperature-controlled projects. Each milestone reflects years of snowmaking equipment experience, practical engineering, and work completed for demanding environments.

    2008 | The Beginning

    Focusun was founded in Shanghai's Lingang Industrial Park, beginning with a commitment to advance refrigeration technology in China.

    2010 | A World Stage in Shanghai

    Focusun supplied integrated refrigeration solutions for the Expo Axis and the Japan, Denmark, and Austria pavilions at the Shanghai World Expo.

  • 2011

    2011 | Building the Production Base

    A 40,000 m2 R&D and manufacturing base was established in Taizhou, Jiangsu, bringing research, production, and testing together in one location.

  • 2013

    2013 | Growing Beyond China

    By this stage, Focusun's work had reached 88 countries, supporting more than 22,000 customers with refrigeration equipment and system solutions.

    2014 | Sochi Winter Games

    Focusun delivered 29 artificial snowmaking systems and three indoor cooling systems for the 22nd Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.

    2015 | A New Approach to Ice Making

    Focusun developed a vacuum ice-making machine, expanding its work in energy-conscious ice-production technology.

    Focusun advanced its high-temperature snowmaking technology and scaled complete equipment solutions for high-clarity ice production.

    2017 | An Indoor Snow Landmark

    Focusun provided refrigeration and snowmaking technical support for the indoor snow hall at Harbin Ice and Snow World, the world's first air-supported ice and snow park.

    2018 | Making Use of LNG Cold Energy

    Working with partners in Wuhan, Focusun developed a skid-mounted ice-making system that uses LNG cold energy.

    2019 | Indoor Snow Projects Take Shape

    Strategic collaborations with Ganso Food and Red Star Macalline supported landmark indoor snow projects, including Ganso Dream World and Grandview Mall in Guangzhou.

    Focusun entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Ski Dubai, providing technical consulting in ice making, snowmaking, and insulation solutions.

    Focusun participated in the Beijing Winter Olympics as a supplier, providing speed-skating ice-making equipment and outdoor high-temperature snowmaking equipment.

    As a core drafting organization, Focusun contributed to the Technical Specification for the Construction of Artificial Snowmaking Systems at Ski Resorts.

    2026 | Creating Controlled Polar Environments

    Focusun supplied a precision automatic snowmaking system for the penguin habitat at Hong Kong Ocean Park, designed to help recreate controlled polar conditions.

Built on Research, Patents, and Project Work

By 2026, Focusun holds more than 200 invention and utility-model patents. As a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Jiangsu science and technology demonstration base, Focusun also works with universities including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Southeast University, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
